Iiris Salt Cocoon & Salt Cabin
Saltarium salt cocoon was presented at Estonian National TV morning programme on 24.01.2012. The video describes what are the salt cocoons and why they are good. Salt cocoon gives the same effects as the salt room – it aims to offer salt therapy via the dry salt aerosol. But it is private, compact and small. It fits to smaller spas, clinics, rehabilitation centers and beauty salons.
Fitting salt cocoons to beauty salons is a new trend. Salt therapy has very good effects on skin and it invigorates natural beauty.
Thanks to the innovation project with Tartu University in Estonia, the salt cocoon can offer stable salt aerosol concentrations within the range most effective to people and their health problems.

On 25 October, the salt cocoon was exhibited at the seminar for entrepreneurs called To the Future, With An Elevator. The seminar was held in Tallinn and organised by Enterprise Estonia. We were invited by Tartu University to present the salt cocoon.

Kokkonen is very proud that Saltarium & IIRIS halogenerators have been shown at several exhibitions this year! At the beginning of June, our representative in Ireland showed IIRIS equipment & Saltarium at Woman’s World Show in Dublin, on 3-5 June. People could try and experience the salt therapy inside the salt cocoon.

We have a new type of cocoon in sale – SALTARIUM. In this cocoon, the patient can sit which creates easy access for elderly people or people with disabilities. Seated position is also more comfortable for people with asthma and other respiratory problems.
The cocoon comes with headphones & MP3 player. It can accommodate mother with the child.

Salt therapy was introduced at Australian national TV – “On Current Affair Australia”.
This was a result of efforts by Mr David Lindsay, the manager of Salts of the Earth and also our representative & good partner in Australia. David has brought salt therapy to Australia and it’s gaining more and more attention.
